7 Days Kruger and Kingdoms
This round trip begins in Johannesburg, where you will begin the first leg. Then a trip into Mpumalanga to marvel at the scenery along the Panorama Route. It’s then on to the Kruger National Park where the Big Five roam, wild and free. Sightings are of an extraordinary calibre. An open vehicle game drive with a passionate guide is going to both thrill and excite. You will then travel to eSwatini. An independent kingdom within the borders of South Africa, known for its colourful and vibrant culture. The people of eSwatini are the main attraction, where you will learn all about their traditions and customs. In Zululand, a cruise on Lake St Lucia awaits, where hippo and crocodiles abound. The journey ends in Durban.
Day 1 – Sunday – Johannesburg
Jozi, Joburg, the City of Gold!! Johannesburg is a dynamic, amazing and bustling thriving city in South Africa. It is also the source of a large-scale gold and diamond trade due to its location on the mineral-rich Witwatersrand range of hills as well as a multicultural melting pot. On arrival in Johannesburg at OR Tambo International Airport, guests will be met by a representative and transferred to their hotel. The remainder of the day is at leisure and unescorted. Why not unwind at your hotel or take an optional (own expense) sightseeing trip of Soweto, to discover more about the South African struggle for freedom? At 19h00 guests will gather at the reception for a tour briefing and an opportunity to meet with fellow travelers.

Day 2 – Monday – Johannesburg to Mpumalanga
Depart Johannesburg after breakfast and head for Pretoria, South Africa capital city, for a short orientation tour, before continuing to the Mpumalanga Province, known as Paradise Country. Dropping several hundred feet into the lush subtropical region of the Lowveld, guests will travel via the historic towns of Dullstroom and Lydenburg. After traversing the famous Long Tom Pass, guests will travel via Sabie and arrive late afternoon into Hazyview, the safari hub of the Kruger National Park. (Breakfast & Dinner)

Day 3 – Tuesday – Mpumalanga
Following a morning breakfast, guests will journey along the stunning Panorama Route, enjoying sights of incredible scenery including the 26-kilometre Blyde River Canyon (known for the Three Rondavels), Bourkes Luck Potholes and the historic Gods Window, a spectacular view (weather permitting) of the edge of the escarpment taking in the Kruger National Park. Guests will return to Hazyview in the late afternoon, with the rest of the day free to unwind and relax. (Breakfast & Dinner)

Day 4 – Wednesday – Mpumalanga
The morning begins with early coffee or tea, followed by a thrilling open vehicle game safari (led by an English-speaking game ranger) in Kruger National Park with pre-packed breakfast. Step outside your comfort zone and experience the African authentic bush. Kruger is considered one of the most outstanding national parks globally, home to a stunning array of wildlife. Search for the Big Five (Rhino, Buffalo, Lion, Leopard and Elephant) along with abundant birdlife and numerous other game species. The safari game features a presentation on the Anti-Poaching Dog Unit (Project Watchdog), created in response to the rise in rhino peaching worldwide. Learn about the dogs that are specially trained to track poachers in the wilderness, detect firearms, ammunition and wildlife products passing through the Kruger National Park gates. A portion of the trip price of this MAKE TRAVEL MATTER experience is dedicated to ensure that these dogs receive the best care to support their vital work. The experience directly advances UN Global Goal 15: Life on Land. Guests will have free time in the afternoon to relax at your hotel. Day 5 – Thrusday– Mpumalanga to Eswatini (Swaziland)
This morning guests will travel to eSwatini (Swaziland), an independent Kingdom located within South Africa, known for its beautiful landscapes, artisanal products and vibrant indigenous culture. An interactive cultural experience inclusive of lunch, introduces us to the charming people of eSwatini (Swaziland) and their traditions. Guests will travel through the Capital City, Mbabane, en route to the stunning Ezulwini Valley for an overnight stay in eSwatini (Swaziland) and a sumptuous dinner at your hotel. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Day 6 – Friday – Eswatini (Swaziland) to Zululand
Following breakfast, guests will continue to the South through eSwatini (Swaziland), before re-entering South Africa. Journey through Zululand, observing traditional round huts and endless vistas. There is an option to enjoy an afternoon open vehicle safari (optional and for own account with an English-speaking game ranger) in the Hluhluwe-Umfolozi Game Reserve, which contains an immense diversity of fauna and flora and is particularly famous for its conservation of black and white rhino. Overnight in Hluhluwe-Umfolozi region. (Breakfast)

Day 7 – Saturday – Zuzulant to Durban (Umhlanga)
This morning guests will join a cruise on Lake St Lucia (Depending on favorable weather conditions) before departing for Durban. This journey takes guests past traditional Zulu Kraals, Eucalyptus plantations and sugar-cane fields. Guests will arrive in Durban in the early afternoon where the tour ends on arrival. (Breakfast)
