Travel by Kreola is engaged in the provision of travel airfare and other tourism-related services on behalf of its Suppliers.  

The terms and conditions set down below govern and regulate the provision of every service provided by Travel by Kreola.

The Client acknowledges that he/she has read and understood these terms and conditions.

  1. Availability of Services

The Client and Travel by Kreola will agree by email on the exact services to be provided by Travel by Kreola to the Client.

It is agreed and accepted by the Client that the services provided by Travel by Kreola remain at all times subject to their availability at the time of the booking made by the Client.

The booking of a Client is firm and final only after Travel by Kreola has obtained confirmation from its Suppliers of the availability of the service/s proposed and its/their prices

  1. Confirmation

A payment of a deposit by the Client as requested for by Travel by Kreola or the full payment for its services confirms and validates the provision of the said services by Travel by Kreola.

  1. Price Changes

The prices proposed by the Travel by Kreola for the services it provides are valid only on the date of the offer issuance.

The Client understands and accepts that the prices proposed by Travel by Kreola are subject to changes resulting from fluctuations in exchange rates, hotel rates or the imposition of new taxes and all prices, schedules, itineraries proposed by Travel by Kreola may be changed without prior notice.

  1. Payment Methods

The payment methods available to Client are: (i) cash payment, or (ii) payment by bank transfer.

  1. Cancellation and Penalty fees

For each request for a booking, a date by which the booking must be confirmed by the Client will be communicated to the Client by Travel by Kreola.

In the event that a booking has not been confirmed by the Client by its due date, Travel by Kreola reserves the right to cancel the booking made by the Client.The Client accepts that in such a case, Travel by Kreola will not be held responsible for any damage suffered by the Client as a result of the cancellation of the booking.

When a Supplier decides to cancel the trip or stay before departure, the Client will be so notified by any means of acknowledging it. The Client accepts that such notification is good and sufficient notice.

If an amicable agreement on an alternative trip or stay proves impossible between Travel by Kreola and the Client, it is appropriated to refer to the specific conditions of each travel or stay provider regarding the reimbursement of the sums paid by the Client and the applicable cancellation indemnity.

Any request to cancel a booking from a Client, after the booking has been confirmed will result in cancellation fees or penalties that will be immediately due and payable to Travel by Kreola.

  1. Limitation of Liability

Travel by Kreola is not an agent of its Suppliers or service providers. It cannot therefore be held responsible for any harm caused to the Client as a result of any act and/or omission of its the Suppliers (e.g., loss of luggage, excess booking, flight cancellations, stays, etc.).

Travel by Kreola and the Client accept and agree that the total liability of Travel by Kreola for any harm/prejudice caused to a Client by any act or omission by its employee or preposé following the confirmation of a booking by a Client will not exceed the sum of twenty-five thousand Mauritian rupees (MUR 25,000).

In the event of a force majeure, a natural disaster or a pandemic or any such other event which prevents Travel by Kreola from fulfilling its obligations, Travel by will not be held liable and will not be required to pay any compensation to the Client.

  1. The Obligations of the Client

The Client must ensure that all entry requirements, including passports and visas, are in order prior to departure and that all health conditions, including vaccination, are met.

The Client who has booked at a typological rate (family, youth, baby, elderly, etc.) will have to provide proof thereof upon request.

The Client understands and accepts that personal insurance during a trip is a prudent and necessary measure.

The Client is requested purchase travel insurance before travelling.

Travel insurance advice can be obtained from any representative of Travel by Kreola upon request.

  1. Problems relating to services

In the event of any problem with the services, the Client must immediately inform the relevant Supplier (e.g. the hotel or emergency contact on the voucher).

If the Client is unable to resolve the problem, he/she should immediately contact Travel by Kreola in Mauritius through the mobile number of its representative which is provided to the Client at the time of confirmation of the booking.

If the Client is unable to contact Travel by Kreola in a timely manner, Travel by Kreola will not be authorized to investigate the Client’s complaint and provide assistance while the Client awayt. This could affect the Client’s rights under these General Terms and Conditions.

  1. Processing visa applications

Travel by Kreola can assist the Client in order to facilitate the visa application process.

The Client understands and accepts that Travel by Kreola is only acting as a facilitator between the Client and the relevant authorities whilst providing such assistance.

The Client will exercise diligence in providing Travel by Kreola with all documents in support of his/her application whenever these are requested for by the relevant authority.

The Client understands and accepts that Travel by Kreola does not offer any guarantee regarding approval of visa (regarding applications made on behalf of the client).

Accordingly, the Client understands and accepts that Travel by Kreola cannot be held liable for any harm suffered by the client as a result of the rejection of his/her visa application.
