Tour Highlights

This tour combines the best of England’s academic history, medieval heritage, and rural charm. From the scholarly streets of Cambridge to the historic heart of Saffron Walden and the peaceful beauty of Thaxted, each destination offers its own unique story.

Itinerary

We make our way through Westminster and the City of London before heading north towards the county of Essex known for its historic towns and villages, coastlines and countryside, historic landmarks and nature.

First up is the quaint market town of Thaxted, nestled in the Uttlesford district of Essex. Back in the medieval day, it was a prominent centre for wool trade. After a quick exploration of Thaxted, we head to our lunch stop for the day: the iconic city of Cambridge.
