Day 3 | Journey to the Floating City of Venice

This morning, you’ll travel north along the Tiber Valley into the verdant and bright Umbrian countryside. Pass the hilltop towns of Orte and Orvieto, two villages perched on hills. Its route to Venice, the “Queen of the Adriatic” passing the terraced olive trees of Turscany and traversing the Apennine Mountains.

Day 4 | Onwards to Verona

Today, we explore Florence’s rich medieval and Renaissance past with a Local Specialist. As we meander through the winding lanes, we come across the multicolored marble Duomo, the well-known Baptistery, and the almost 700-year-old Ponte Vecchio, a magnificent example of Middle Ages engineering that is now dotted with jewelers. We continue our journey back to Rome via Umbria and the Tiber River valley. Join your new friends for supper and toast to a wonderful Christmas.
